Why flaxseed?  Flaxseed is a remarkable material with a unique composition that makes it ideal for therapeutic use.  Each tiny seed contains 30-40% flaxseed oil, which remains within the seed even after harvesting.  This oil content is key to flaxseed's ability to provide consistent, soothing heat.  When heated, the soft shell of the flaxseed allows it to absorb moisture from the air.  As it cools, this moisture is gradually released as a gentle, moist heat.  This natural heat retention makes flaxseed an excellent choice for a comforting experience.  

Instructions for use: 

For a heated eye mask: place mask in microwave

for 30 seconds, flip mask to other side and heat

for 15 seconds more.  Might need to heat a little more, 

depending on the microwave.  PLEASE TEST HEAT OF 

MASK PRIOR TO PLACING ON FACE!!

For a cooling mask: place mask in plastic baggie

and put it in the freezer for a couple of hours and place on face.
